About the Role:

Position: Construction Manager

Location: Cheyenne, WY

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Construction Manager with a background in mechanical engineering to support our data center construction projects . This role is crucial in ensuring project success by managing site activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining high-quality execution. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience with construction systems and processes , and the ability to work independently while keeping the project on track.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure alignment with project schedules and quality standards.
• Manage subcontractors, general contractors, and vendors, particularly in Mechanical scopes.
• Direct and manage installations and functionality on site
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Proactively identify and resolve on-site construction challenges.
• Coordinate with project teams, including design, engineering, and commissioning teams.
• Provide regular progress reports and escalate critical issues when necessary.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Support procurement, logistics, and material management.
• Lead site meetings and maintain clear communication across all levels of the project.
• Ensure construction aligns with contract requirements and owner's expectations.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), or a related field (preferred) OR extensive experience in electrical trades.
• 7+ years of experience in construction management , preferably in data center or mission-critical environments .
• Experience managing mechanical scopes in large-scale construction projects.

Top Three Skills:

• Mechanical Engineering Experience
• Data Center – Chiller/Fluid Cooling Management (3yr+)
• Industrial Construction Background (Exposure to fluids/ high pressure gases in critical environments)

Salary Range: $ 166,000 - 176,000 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
