Job Summary:
We are a golf equipment manufacturer in Missoula, MT looking for a Customer Service Representative. This is a full-time/in-office position Monday – Friday 7 am – 4 pm. We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. In this role, you will be the first point of contact with our customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Answer telephone calls from individuals, place orders, track orders, and manage customer questions via email.
- Provide accurate information about products and services, including pricing, availability, and features.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues by identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and improve service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to provide informed assistance.
- Participate in training and development sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent, additional education or certification in customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Maintain a positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in customer service is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer/keyboard for long periods of time.
