About the Role


We are seeking an Engineering/Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance Department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, developing and maintaining mechanical integrity and preventive maintenance programs, and driving capital projects and energy conservation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality.



Responsibilities


  • Lead and supervise maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Develop and maintain effective mechanical integrity and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities for scheduled and unscheduled shutdowns.
  • Oversee capital project execution and energy conservation efforts.
  • Provide training and development for maintenance staff, including safety and procedural updates.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure adequate inventory of maintenance spare parts.


Qualifications


  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience in maintenance or engineering management.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence and build relationships across departments.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in various physical positions, and operate in both indoor (90%) and outdoor (10%) environments.
