As an Engineering Tech, you will:
- Manufacturing of complex automotive harnesses for power and communication buses by utilizing harness drawings and schematics.
- Implement best practices in keeping a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
- Low-voltage electrical wiring for automotive, trucking, or off-road vehicles.
- Ability to work independently and turn high-level designs into functional systems.
- Perform both mechanical and electrical vehicle modifications.
- Ability to prototype solutions quickly and efficiently.
- Troubleshooting, supporting root cause analysis, and rolling out corrective actions.
- Documentation of processes, procedures, and results.
- Participate in validation and testing, including development of required resources and assets.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, Logistics, and other relevant departments.
Requirements
- Familiarity with electrical systems in automotive or robotics applications
- Familiarity with a broad range of manufacturing processes, including rapid prototyping
- Experience with vehicle electrical and electronics systems. Ideally including components for ADAS (advanced driver assist systems) and autonomous vehicles
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE Certification
- Experience with medium/heavy trucks, including diagnostics and repairs
- Familiarity with autonomous vehicle sensors (radar/camera/lidar) and their integration
- Comfortable with Windows and Linux environments
- Fabrication experience
