Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Encompass Rehabilitation Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and abilities.
• Directing physical therapy sessions aimed at relieving pain, preventing disability, and restoring functionality in patients.
• Overseeing the work and progress of physical therapy assistants to ensure effective implementation of care plans.
• Utilizing diagnostic tests to evaluate physical function, mobility, and overall well-being, crafting and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Providing hands-on therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise instruction, and the application of physical agents like traction and massage.
• Conducting home evaluations to recommend modifications that optimize a patient's independence, often in collaboration with family members.
• Maintaining detailed clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participating actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and modify treatment plans collaboratively.
• Educating patients and their families about home exercise programs and the use of physical therapy devices.
• Completing timely documentation and clinical orders in accordance with branch policies to ensure streamlined operations.

Qualifications
