Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical abilities and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement treatment programs utilizing evidence-based approaches, targeting conditions across a variety of specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, using clinical judgment to enhance functional outcomes.
• Provide educational resources and training for patients and their caregivers, ensuring they have the knowledge needed to continue rehabilitation efforts at home.
• Foster a positive patient experience by delivering exceptional customer service and engaging communication to inspire patient adherence to treatment.
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians to apply a teamwork approach that emphasizes communication, mutual support, and sharing of best practices for quality care.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and participate in performance metrics to enhance the overall effectiveness of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from post-operative procedures, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and pediatric developmental challenges. You will be instrumental in guiding each patient through their unique rehabilitation journey, using innovative therapeutic techniques and compassionate communication to help them reclaim their functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current state licensing as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) through the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy.
• Certification in CPR to ensure immediate response to medical emergencies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and succinctly.
• Basic word processing and computer skills to maintain patient records and documentation accurately.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a wide variety of treatment modalities and techniques, particularly in an outpatient clinical setting.
• Proven ability to develop strong professional relationships with patients and their families.
