Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Bright Star, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluations and diagnostic insights.
  • Conducting assessments to evaluate clients' functional levels, employing diagnostic tools to gauge muscle, nerve, and joint capabilities.
  • Overseeing and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants in delivering appropriate therapeutic techniques.
  • Administering manual therapy techniques as well as therapeutic exercises, ensuring clients are engaged and motivated throughout their rehabilitation journey.
  • Evaluating patient progress regularly and modifying treatment strategies to align with evolving patient needs and goals.
  • Providing education to patients and their families regarding treatment, exercises, and the use of assistive devices.
  • Documenting all clinical activities, including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes, to maintain comprehensive clinical records.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and collaborate with other medical professionals.
  • Ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards in patient care, as well as adhering to insurance documentation requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients recovering from various musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and those seeking to enhance their functional mobility. You will play an integral role in crafting treatment strategies for diverse client needs, spanning from sports injuries to chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida, in good standing.
  • Current CPR certification to ensure readiness for medical emergencies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.

Preferred Experience
