Key Responsibilities

  • Support physical therapists in executing treatment protocols tailored to patient needs, including modalities such as therapeutic exercises, ultrasound therapy, and electrotherapy.
  • Deliver hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy, to help alleviate patient pain and improve function under direct supervision.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home care strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance rehabilitation efforts.
  • Monitor and assess patient progress during therapy sessions, meticulously documenting changes in functionality and any predicted outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to discuss patient updates and refine treatment plans based on progress and evolving needs.
  • Utilize trigger point therapy techniques as required to relieve muscle tension and pain.
  • Engage in quality improvement measures and support occupational health initiatives for the wellbeing of all staff and patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and various musculoskeletal disorders. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work with patients across different age groups, tailoring rehabilitation strategies to enhance their overall health and functional independence.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy Assistant or a related field.
  • A valid and active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with diverse patient populations.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy.
  • Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices for rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in an orthopedic clinic or hospital setting.
  • Familiarity with current rehabilitation technologies and software to document treatment plans and patient progress.
  • Engagement in continuing education to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to USD 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Aside from salary, our benefits package includes:
