Work Environment

The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement therapy programs developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, focusing on improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functional capabilities.
- Deliver therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular reeducation, and various modalities under the supervision of a licensed PT to address individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient treatments and progress utilizing our advanced electronic medical record system.
- Educate patients on proper techniques, postural alignment, and home exercise programs to support their recovery and progress between therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, clinic aides, and administrative staff to optimize patient flow and ensure exemplary care standards.
- Engage with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, while proactively reporting changes in patients' conditions to relevant stakeholders.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Physical Therapist Assistant in our facility, you will primarily work with patients undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain syndromes. Your role will be critical in helping them manage pain, regain function, and restore confidence as they progress through their recovery.
Qualifications

Education: Associate's Degree from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.

Licensure: Valid and current New Jersey PTA license is a must.

Preferred Experience
