This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package. Work Environment

The physical therapist role is primarily onsite at our rehabilitation center, where you will work in a modern, well-equipped facility designed to facilitate patient rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain and preventing disability.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring the accurate execution of care plans.
• Conduct evaluations to assess client functionality through diagnostic tests targeting muscle, nerve, joint, and functional capabilities.
• Analyze home environments to recommend modifications that enhance client independence.
• Administer various therapeutic techniques, including manual exercises, traction, and physical agents, to optimize client recovery.
• Assess and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, providing key recommendations to physicians.
• Engage actively in the care plan development process, maintaining clear communication with clients, families, and team members.
• Document client progress meticulously, preparing clinical records to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in case conferences to discuss and strategize optimal treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Offer client education regarding therapy devices and comprehensive physical therapy programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and age-related conditions. Your goal will be to support these individuals in achieving their personal rehabilitation goals and regaining their independence. You will create personalized treatment strategies based on each client's unique conditions, promoting a patient-centric approach to physical therapy.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current, valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Compensation and Benefits

Bright Star Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually.
