Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Fort Myers rehabilitation facility. You will work within a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters professional growth and teamwork. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while making a positive impact in patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to recognize and address the specific rehabilitation goals and needs of patients.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques and modalities for optimal healing.
• Administer cost-effective therapies designed to improve patient mobility and range of motion.
• Pursue non-surgical alternatives to treatment, seeking to minimize reliance on medication.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout the rehabilitation process to enhance their overall functionality.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to create holistic treatment strategies.
• Monitor progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patients' responses.
• Document all services provided, ensuring accurate records of patient progress and treatments.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and exercises to foster ongoing wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will primarily work with orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. This role focuses on helping patients regain their mobility and strength through evidence-based practices and personalized therapeutic interventions. You will play a key role in the recovery journey of each patient, employing your expertise to tailor treatment programs to their needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions on the license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program development.
• Knowledgeable in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated capability in implementing evidence-based treatment protocols that achieve successful patient outcomes.
• Experience in collaborating with healthcare providers to offer comprehensive patient care solutions.

Compensation and Benefits
