Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant for Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in evaluating patient needs and implementing tailored treatment programs.
• Administer hands-on therapy modalities under the supervision of a physical therapist, including exercises, manual therapy, and modality application.
• Educate and guide patients on rehabilitation exercises and their proper techniques for optimal recovery.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress, including assessments and response to treatment.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize techniques such as trigger point therapy when appropriate to enhance patient outcomes.
• Support occupational health initiatives to promote workplace wellness and injury prevention.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a wide demographic, treating patients ranging in age from pediatric to elderly populations. We cater to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those with chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or a closely related field is required.
• Current active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant is mandatory.
• Proven knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and hands-on patient care.

• A strong sense of empathy and compassion for patients undergoing rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years, candidates with experience in orthopedics or sports rehabilitation will be favored. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and evidence-based practice frameworks can be advantageous in this role. Experience in occupational health initiatives is a plus and will create additional avenues for patient interaction and support.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 – 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
