TITLE: Project Support Analyst
Job Summary:
The Project Support Analyst is responsible for managing and supporting the financial and operational execution of IT projects. This hybrid role combines project management oversight with financial controls expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with budgetary expectations. The position collaborates across IT, finance, and enterprise teams to maintain transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities/Expectations:
• Lead and coordinate IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology roadmaps
• Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
• Monitor and communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and resource planning
• Support change management and stakeholder engagement activities
• Track and analyze project costs, forecasts, and variances using ERP financial tools (e.g. Oracle)
• Support monthly forecasting activities including accruals, invoice reconciliation, and reporting
• Assist with project change request (PCR) processes and risk analysis (cost/schedule)
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by leadership
• Preferred experience with Agile methodologies
Education/Years of Experience:
• Required: High School Diploma/GED; minimum of 2 years of related experience in project support or financial controls
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher; 4+ years of experience in IT project management or project controls
Other Requirements:
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project/Planner, Oracle, etc.)
• Basic understanding of financial principles such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ability to interpret and communicate financial data to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with BI reporting tools and data visualization
• Preferred: Familiarity with IT systems development lifecycle and SaaS/cloud financial treatment
• Preferred: Experience with enterprise reporting and vendor coordination
