We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant or Paralegal with demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting contracts within the food and beverage sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly related to alcohol licensing and operational permits.


Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and interpret commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and licensing documents.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the food and beverage industry.
  • Prepare and manage documentation related to alcohol licenses, including applications and renewals.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities such as the NY/NJ Port Authority.
  • Support internal stakeholders with legal research, contract tracking/writing/interpreting, and risk assessment.
  • Maintain organized legal files and assist in document management and audits.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a legal support role within the airline, food and beverage, or hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with Port Authority and other municipal/governmental compliance processes is a plus.
  • Exceptional written communication and contract interpretation skills.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work onsite at our Southlake Office 4 days a week (1 day from home).
