Work Environment

Work hours are scheduled from Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our facility, you will:

• Direct comprehensive physical therapy treatment aimed at relieving pain, restoring function, and preventing disability, all while adhering to individualized patient care plans.
• Evaluate patients' physical conditions through detailed assessments of muscle strength, joint range of motion, and functional abilities using evidence-based diagnostic tools.
• Implement therapeutic exercise programs tailored to each patient's needs, encouraging active participation and providing guidance throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to the established care plan and to reinforce effective treatment protocols.
• Engage in interdisciplinary case discussions, contributing your insights for collaborative treatment plans and making necessary adjustments based on patient progress.
• Maintain thorough clinical records including comprehensive evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries to ensure continuity of care.
• Conduct home environment assessments to recommend modifications that will promote patient independence and safety.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, exercises, and home care techniques necessary for optimal recovery.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and organizational initiatives to enhance service delivery and clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily serve adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• A valid driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance for potential home assessments.

Compensation and Benefits
