Medical Quality Assurance Lead (Remote US, Contract, AI training) — SME Careers via AI Gig Scout

SME Careers, a fast-growing AI data services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate that delivers training data for many of the world's largest AI companies and foundation-model labs, is looking for a Medicine Quality Assurance Lead. This is an hourly, remote contractor role at $95/hr, open to applicants in the United States. There is no immediate project for this role; qualified experts will be among the first contacted when relevant projects arise.

You will oversee quality, consistency and trainer performance across medical AI training projects: review AI-generated medical content and trainer/QA work against project guidelines, give precise written feedback, and assess medical accuracy, clinical reasoning, guideline and patient-safety awareness, terminology, clarity and rubric adherence. You will also spot recurring quality issues, update trainers and QAs, support onboarding and maintain documentation.

The role needs strong medical expertise, strong English, excellent attention to detail, structured communication and the ability to manage quality workflows across remote medical-review teams. Selection involves an AI interview, a domain-specific task and a recruiter interview.
