In that context, the Data Analyst plays a key role in analyzing relevant mRNA data to drive decision making and improving business processes end-to-end, from research to industrialization.

Main Responsibilities:

The Data Analyst interprets data and extracts information that can be used to improve the business and thus affect business decisions.

Primary responsibilities include working with understanding data analysis and integration requirements and guiding solution design and architecture to meet these needs, in addition to core business analyst responsibilities.

Participate in the development of End to End Data Platform:

  • Participate in developing and implementing data platform, from data collection systems to data products and analytics solutions

  • Support Product Owner in prioritizing needs based on business impact analysis

  • Identify, investigate and aggregate data from internal and external sources ; Guide solution design to meet data and integration requirements

  • Create and maintain logic and processes to support efficient and trustworthy consumption of business data. Identify data quality & statistical relevance gaps.

  • Filter and "clean" data through a review of computer reports, listings and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

  • Identify opportunities for the development of new data sources and assume technical leadership on the availability of these data sources, widely and with good quality

Foster Data-driven Decision Making Processes and Culture:

  • Work with business analysts and data teams to define business and technical requirements for data use, analysis, and quality.

  • Understand and help strengthen data governance policies, standards and procedures for R&D data

  • Coach employees to make good use of digital technologies and support training needs for data capabilities as needed

  • Design and execute analyzes to uncover fields of opportunities for data modeling expansion

About You

  • Earned Bachelor's degree (required) or Master's degree (preferred) in Computer Science or relevant STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) degree

  • At least 2 years experience (with Master's degree or 3+ with Bachelor's degree) as a data analyst, ideally in biotech or pharmaceutical research and development

  • Experience with data wrangling, statistical analysis, and/or data visualization using Structured Query Language (SQL), Python, R, Excel, Tableau, or Power Bi

  • Good verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including experience communicating with business and technical teams

  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations

  • Ability to disseminate significant amounts of information with close attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to navigate in Research & Development environment

  • Transversal collaboration and Business Partnership

  • Experienced in working in an agile environment

  • Ability to understand and speak French is a plus
