Work Environment

Your workplace will be our modern rehabilitation center in Bakersfield, CA, where you will collaborate alongside a dedicated team comprised of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. The facility is designed to foster a positive and empowering environment for both staff and patients. With a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will have consistent working hours that promote a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and address individual patient objectives and rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a manageable caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused and personalized care during each session.
• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate a mix of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's needs.
• Facilitate rehabilitation programs aimed at improving clients' range of motion, strength, and mobility, while reducing reliance on medications and avoiding unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Motivate and guide patients through their rehabilitation process, providing education and support to promote active participation in their recovery.
• Document all patient care services and treatment outcomes meticulously, ensuring accurate and comprehensive electronic medical record maintenance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, enhancing overall treatment outcomes.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment strategies and make adjustments as necessary to achieve desired progress.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions; a clean professional record is essential.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and hands-on rehabilitation.
• Strong competency in developing and implementing individualized exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in patient-centered care and rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration within a healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
