Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs, with patients often referred by physicians specializing in orthopedic conditions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient rehabilitation goals, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Implement and monitor progress on prescribed treatment programs, ensuring adherence to established care protocols in alignment with physician's plans.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a therapeutic environment that prioritizes patient comfort and trust.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment progress, and adjustments to care plans, utilizing our electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and streamline care, participating in case discussions and treatment planning.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and self-management strategies for long-term wellness.
• Achieve assigned utilization and performance goals while contributing to overall clinic success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A current valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.

• Certification in Basic Life Support from an accredited organization such as the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate treatment plans to patients and their families.
• Proficient in word processing and computer systems for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a rehabilitation facility with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with patients and caregivers, as well as within the community.

Compensation and Benefits

Canyon Orthopedics Clinic offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
