Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work onsite at our outpatient office, with available work schedules from Monday to Friday, either 9 am to 5 pm or 8 am to 4 pm. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions through thorough evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that address mobility issues, pain management, and functional improvements.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to enhance recovery.
• Engage in clinical teaching by mentoring physical therapy interns and residents, guiding them through practical applications of their education.
• Contribute to the clinic's clinical research initiatives, aligned with your areas of specialty, to continually innovate and improve treatment modalities.
• Document patient progress comprehensively, ensuring compliance with industry standards and facilitating communication within the care team.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with complex needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal system. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping adults regain movement and return to their daily activities, whether it's getting back to sports, work, or simply enjoying life without pain.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active New York State Physical Therapy license, ensuring you are qualified to practice in the state.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment and treatment planning, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, enhancing your credentials and expertise in this specialty area.

Compensation and Benefits
