Work Environment

Your workweek will typically run from Monday to Friday, with flexible scheduling options such as 9 am to 5 pm or 8 am to 4 pm, ensuring a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, stretching, modalities, and therapeutic exercises.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Engage actively in clinical teaching, providing guidance to physical therapy interns and students.
• Provide valuable input regarding the educational needs of staff, facilitating ongoing professional development.
• Support research endeavors within the clinical setting, exploring new methods and techniques to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and treatment records in compliance with organizational policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapy license in New York State.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practices and patient interactions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient engagement and team collaboration.
• Strong clinical assessment skills to provide accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
