Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with musculoskeletal conditions to develop customized treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implementing and modifying treatment interventions, providing education to patients and their families about recovery processes and self-management techniques.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, including regular communication regarding changes in treatment plans.
• Documenting patient progress accurately and comprehensively, adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Participating in community outreach programs and interdisciplinary team meetings to promote wellness and the benefits of physical therapy.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, including physical therapist assistants (PTAs) and students, to ensure effective treatment delivery.
• Staying informed of the latest best practices in physical therapy through continued education and attendance at workshops and seminars.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adult patients experiencing orthopedic challenges, ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. Qualifications

The following qualifications are essential for the position:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; Doctorate preferred.
• Active state license in Physical Therapy.

• Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
