Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the physical condition and functional limitations of patients with musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, postoperative needs, and chronic pain conditions.
• Create and implement tailored rehabilitation plans utilizing advanced techniques in manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Monitor each patient's progress, diligently documenting treatment efficacy and making data-driven adjustments to therapeutic approaches as required.
• Educate and empower patients with knowledge regarding their conditions, prevention strategies, and the importance of adherence to home exercise programs to promote sustained wellness.
• Collaborate effectively with physical therapy assistants, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare providers, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, emerging techniques, and advancements in physical therapy treatments to further enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Mend Force Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal problems. Our diverse patient population includes athletes aiming to return to their sports, individuals recovering from joint replacements, and patients dealing with age-related degenerative conditions. Your role will significantly impact their quality of life and speed up their recovery process.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate (DPT) or Master's Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required, although new graduates with strong clinical experience through internships are welcomed to apply.
• Exceptional clinical reasoning, empathetic communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit are essential.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred; additional certifications in specialized areas such as geriatrics or neurological rehabilitation will be advantageous.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, as some patient interactions may occur outside of the facility.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with high-performance athletes and knowledge of sports rehabilitation methods is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and rehabilitation technologies will enhance efficiency and patient engagement.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary care teams focused on holistic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:
