Physical Therapist Assistant Role $2,000 per week
About the Role
We're seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a PACE program dedicated to helping older adults maintain independence and quality of life. You'll work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy services in the PACE center and participants' homes.
- Carry out treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and safety.
- Assist with gait training, balance, and fall-prevention programs.
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team.
- Educate participants and caregivers on home exercise and safe mobility.
Requirements - Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Current state PTA license.
- Experience with older adults preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
