About the Job:
The Resource Nurse plays a key role in ensuring patient safety, quality of care, and staff development within assigned practices. This role combines direct patient care with leadership, mentoring, and consultation, helping to operationalize best practices and maintain high clinical standards across ambulatory settings.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct patient care and perform all RN functions as needed.
  • Mentor and precept newly hired clinical staff, ensuring strong integration into practice and organizational culture.
  • Promote quality and safety initiatives, including infection prevention, medication safety, and scope of practice compliance.
  • Collaborate with providers, Practice Manager, and nursing leadership to implement evidence-based practices.
  • Support quality assurance and improvement activities.
  • Participate in practice staffing planning, supply management, and staff competency tracking.
  • Maintain up-to-date licensure, certifications, and knowledge of evidence-based care.

Who You Are:

  • Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Active RN license (NH, NLC state, MA, or both) with current BLS/CPR. RN-BC certification in Ambulatory Care or relevant specialty preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of RN experience required, including mentoring/precepting. Ambulatory care and leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills & Abilities: Strong clinical expertise, problem-solving ability, adaptability in fast-paced settings, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
