Transfer Center Nurse
The primary function of this role is to facilitate patient transfers into a healthcare system by collaborating with relevant business partners and utilizing problem-solving skills.
- Responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service through phone and personal interactions.
- Maintaining high levels of professionalism and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Anticipating and prioritizing critical transfer issues, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Collaborating with ED staff, House Supervisors, administrators, and physicians to ensure efficient transfers.
- Working closely with team members to utilize established protocols, policies, and resources.
- Maintaining timely knowledge of transfer requests and capacity.
Key qualifications for the position include:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- RN License in the state of employment or compact.
- BLS certification.
This is a full-time role that requires excellent organizational and communication skills. A strong focus on delivering quality care and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders is essential.
