Work Environment

This position operates onsite at our well-equipped hospital facility, designed to offer an efficient and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience while focusing on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Muscleworks, your day-to-day responsibilities will include a variety of tasks aimed at delivering comprehensive care to our patients:

• Collaborate with licensed physical therapists to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Provide hands-on therapy services that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities as guided by treatment protocols.
• Educate and instruct patients about therapeutic exercises, activities, and equipment necessary for their rehabilitation process.
• Systematically monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions, ensuring accurate records of their response to treatment.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with our healthcare team, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy when appropriate to assist in pain management and mobility improvement.
• Support our commitment to occupational health initiatives through proactive patient engagement and educational outreach within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographics span all age groups, including children, adults, and seniors. Our focus on orthopedic rehabilitation encompasses a wide variety of conditions such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:

• Hold an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Possess a current active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience working as a PTA is required.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology necessary for effective patient assessment and treatment.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and approaches that support patient recovery.
• Exhibit a commitment to delivering quality care with empathy and compassion.

Preferred Experience

While the required experience is set at a minimum of 2 years, candidates with additional credentials or specialty training in fields such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or sports therapy are strongly encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits
