Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Encompass Rehabilitation Center, your responsibilities will include the following:

• Develop and implement tailored physical therapy treatment plans that focus on pain relief, muscle function restoration, and maximizing patient capabilities.
• Assess patients' physical condition through diagnostic tests, including evaluations of muscle, joint, and functional abilities.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of therapy plans.
• Conduct home assessments to make recommendations that support patient independence during rehabilitation.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual treatments, and physical agent modalities as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Maintain accurate clinical records including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with organizational standards.
• Participate in case conferences to ensure collaborative treatment strategies and alignment on patient goals.
• Educate patients and their families regarding therapy devices and overall treatment programs.
• Contribute to the continuous review and improvement of treatment protocols within the organization.
• Stay accessible and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants during patient treatments to ensure exemplary care.
